Chapter Chat 3

Hey everyone, Chapter Chat 3 is going to kick off in Term 3 running from Weeks 1-6. Now the big question is what book are we going to read?

Well after lots of reading and research I have decided to choose.......... 'The Magic Faraway Tree' by Enid Blyton!

'The Magic Faraway Tree' is about three
children who explore an enchanted wood and discover a Magic Faraway Tree. The tree is occupied by fairies and fairy-folk who become their companions and who help them explore the magic lands at the top of the tree.

It has won many awards and has featured on lots of 'Best Chapter Book to Read to Kids' websites. Basically it's a classic!

The book is easy to read and is perfect for Y3/4's!.

Are you excited? Well I am! I can't wait to get started!

Chapter Chat - Design A Logo Competition

Hey everyone, I decided to run a Chapter Chat - Design a Logo Competition!

Basically what I'm looking for is a new Chapter Chat Logo that we can use on our Twitter, Facebook and Blog pages. I think the current logo, which was made by me, can be improved.

The competition is open to all primary school kids. It doesn't matter if you take part in Chapter Chat or not.

All entries need to be emailed to me at by the last day of term 2. I will announce the winner soon after!

Here is what we are looking for:

- The logo should feature the words Chapter Chat.

- The logo needs to be a square shape as this is what twitter accepts for its profiles.

- The logo needs to feature or have something to do with books.

- Clean and simple to read always works well

- The logo needs to stand out

Below is the current logo. Can you do better? Do you want your work to feature on all the Chapter Chat social media pages? I look forward to seeing everyone's entries!
